The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi Polaris limited edition chronograph and regatta timer is one heck of a nice watch. AP made 2000 watches to celebrate the America’s Cup entrant Alinghi, and the captain of the boat wore a Polaris during the race. With the red touches on the dial and the sporty Special Black Leather Perforated Strap with Red Stitching, this is a great watch to own and enjoy.

Case is stainless steel with dimensions of 42mm diameter by 14.6mm thick. Water resistant to 100 meters. Sapphire crystal. Octagonal polished and brushed bezel and exposed white gold screws. Rubber strap with AP deployant clasp. Specially engraved caseback.

Dial is black with luminous Arabic numbers and hands. Chronograph features 30 minute and 12 hour totalizer subdials. There is also the red hand which is a regatta count down timer and internal bezel with compass points.

For the holders of the America’s Cup and all their supporters, Audemars Piguet creates the Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi Polaris, a chronometer watch equipped with a new movement and a new complication, the “flyback” regatta chronograph. Limited to 2000 pieces.
