The 42mm diameter solid three-body case and downturned lugs are polished/brushed. It has a screw-down crown, and a calendar aperture at 6 oclock. The dial is black with applied silver Arabic numeral hour markers, an outer minute track with dot divisions, and steel feuille hands. A small hacking seconds sub dial with a stop function is at 9 oclock, and the 7-day power reserve dial is at 3. Its water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. Fitted on a brown leather strap with stainless steel fold-over deployant buckle.

Its constructed with 44 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a Glucydur beryllium alloy balance with high-precision adjustment cam on balance arms, and a self-compensating Breguet balance spring. There is a skeletonized bi-directional rotor with an 18K gold medallion inlay engraved "IWC -Probus Scafusia". It references the first IWC Portuguese watches of the 1930s, with the railway track chapter ring, Arabic numerals, and feuille hands.
