Motion in Time, Inc. is not affiliated with any watch company, and is not an official Jeweler. Warranty no longer attaches. Motion in Time, Inc. is the sole warrantor of these watches.
Motion in Time, Inc. is not affiliated with any watch maker. Motion in Time is NOT an authorized dealer of any Watch and Jewelry Brand that we sell. Every manufacturer imprints a serial number on each of their pieces for identification purposes. We guarantee that each item we sell bears the original manufacturer’s serial number intact and without any alterations.
Due to the fact that we are considered an unauthorized dealer – the manufacturer will not honor a warranty on a watch bought through us. However, Motion in Time, Inc. steps in and provides you with an equivalent warranty that mirrors the manufacturer’s warranty. If in the unlikely event something does go wrong with your watch for 2 years from date of purchase, the watch would need to be sent back to us.
If the issue is an easy fix such as a regulation, battery change or a similar simple issue – we have contracted highly qualified proffional watchmakers who are capable of correcting these simple issues (water resistance testing after opening the watch and other such concerns are completely guaranteed). Our watchmakers repair many high end watch manufacturers and can easily deal with these simple corrections.
However if we determine that the defect is of a more serious nature, we will actually have the watch returned to the respective manufacturer throught our authorized dealers. The only issue with sending a watch back to the manufacturer is the lead time. Unfortunately the manufacturers can take a minimum from anywhere between 4-8 weeks to repair a watch, sometimes longer if the parts are back ordered.
The Motion in Time, Inc. warranty covers all watches we sell for the period of two years from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. The warranty does not cover damages such as scratches, finish, crystals, glass, Straps – leather, fabric or rubber, damage due to wear and tear, damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer’s water resistance limitations and damage due to physical and/or accidental abuse.
All warranty repairs must be handled directly through Motion in Time. Watches opened or repaired by any other source will void all warranties. Shipping and insurance costs for warranty returns to us must be covered by the customer. Returns must be shipped via traceable courier, e.g. UPS or USPS (Do not ship via FedEx, FedEx does not insure watches or jewelry valued above $500). Return shipment must be pre-paid and fully insured.
Collect shipping will be refused. In case of loss or damages, customer is liable. Return shipping expenses to the customer once the watch is repaired will be covered by Motion in Time In case a repair is necessary; please call us to obtain a return authorization number. All warranty returns must have a Return Authorization Number (RA).
This number must be displayed on the outside of the box. A watch returned without authorization will be refused. Please include a copy of your invoice and/or a detailed letter indication the problem, the return address, contact phone numbers and email address.
