The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, octagonal bezel with 8 octagonal screws, and integral drop lugs are brushed, with the beveled edges polished. The solid octagonal case back is also secured with 8 screws and engraved with "Royal Oak Offshore." It has a protected screwed down crown with a rubber cap, and a uni-directional metallic black aluminum rotating bezel, which is located under the crystal. The screwed-down crown located on the case edge at the 10 o’clock position controls the graduated dive-time bezel. The dial has s black Mega-Tapestry "waffle" design texture, applied luminous steel baton index hour markers, an outer minute/second track, and white gold baton hands with the hour hand faceted with 3 band of luminescent material to easily distinguish it from the minute hand. It has a center sweep seconds hand with a luminescent indicator circle. There is a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position with a Cyclops magnifying lens, and it’s water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet. It has strong resistance to pressure, shock, and magnetic forces, with a power reserve of 60-hours at full wind. The 13.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

The automatic self-winding Audemars Piguet caliber 3120 movement is rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It’s constructed with 40 jewels, 278 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, an anti-magnetic monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. There is a hacking seconds mechanism, and the movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The 22K gold rotor is engraved with monograms, and the bridge and other middle parts are decorated with Côtes de Geneve engraving, while the base plate is stipple finished.
