The Patek Philippe reference 1593 is known as the Hour Glass. Originally released in 1944, this model inspired subsequent, similarly designed models like the 2441 and 2442. Production was for a long time, from 1944 through 1967, with fewer than 1,000 watches made. 18k rose gold, with concave sides and thick flared lugs.
