The 36mm diameter solid three-body 18kt Rolex Gold oyster case, gently curved diamond lugs, and fixed diamond signature bezel, are polished. It includes yellow gold baton hour and minute hands, and there is a rose gold center sweep seconds hand. There is a date aperture window at the 3 o’clock position underneath a Cyclops magnification lens. There is a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating. It has an approximate power reserve of 50-hours at full winding, it’s waterproof to 100 meters/330 feet, and the case, dial, and movement are all signed. 

This Rolex Day-Date 36mm President Diamond ’Crown Collection’ 18kt Yellow Gold has a mechanical automatic self-winding Rolex caliber 3055 movement that’s rhodium plated, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It has bidirectional self-winding by the perpetual rotor, and a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring. It’s constructed with 27 jewels, and includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that’s adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, an Incabloc shock absorber mechanism, and a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring. It has Microstella regulating screws, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
