The three-body 38.5mm case downturned lugs, and rounded bezel are polished. This A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 191.039 has the new mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L121.1 movement. It’s rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it’s constructed with 43 jewels, an anti-shock device, and an escapement with a balance wheel with eccentric poising weights and a freely oscillating balance spring. It includes twin mainspring barrels mounted in series, a hand-engraved balance cock, blued screws, some gold chatons, and the mechanism beats at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
