It has a screw-down winding crown with a crown guard, and a solid screw-down case back engraved with "Seamaster," and the Seamaster logo in high relief. There are screw-down round chronograph pushbuttons, and a Helium escape valve is at 10 oclock. The 41.5mm diameter solid three-body case, integral downturned lugs, and unidirectional revolving black Ion-plated bezel with faceted edges, are polished/brushed. The dial is black with applied luminous dot hour markers, steel hands with a luminous circle on the hour hand, and a luminous triangle on the minute hand. There is a red-tipped center sweep chronograph hand, and around the perimeter is a 60 minute/one-fifth second track with Arabic numerals and red dots every five minutes. There is a date aperture window at the 3 oclock position, and there are 3 black steel-rimmed subsidiary dials with red hands, including a constant small seconds register at 9 oclock, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 oclock, and there is a 30-minute sub dial is at 12 oclock. It has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, and its water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet. The 16.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
