Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet pays homage to its exquisitely appointed boutique in Madrid with a powerful and opulent limited edition Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph that evokes the Latin warmth and sensuality of Spain. The timepiece will be offered for sale exclusively in a series of 100 pieces through the Audemars Piguet Don Ramon de la Cruz boutique in the Salamanca district of Madrid.

Audemars Piguet craftsmanship is epitomized to many collectors through the complex design and exacting finish of the imposing Royal Oak Offshore watch case, which is rendered here in sensual 18-karat pink gold. The anthracite dial with its contrasting black subdials, and pink gold hour markers and hands with black Superluminova material present an alluring contrast against the signature Mega Tapestry background pattern that is a virtual signature of Audemars Piguet and its prestigious Royal Oak family of timepieces; the date appears beneath a circular magnifier beneath the sapphire crystal, and a concave dial flange displays the tachymeter scale for the calculation of average speeds. Also unique to this model is the contrasting finish applied to the famous hexagon screws on the octagonal bezel. Turning the timepiece over reveals a special commemorative caseback, which displays the engraving “Royal Oak Offshore Limited Edition” and “Don Ramon de la Cruz”, as well as the individual number of the watch.
