This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph has a mechanical automatic self-winding Audemars Piguet caliber 2385 movement that’s rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It’s constructed with 37 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism. It has a suspended barrel, and the oscillating weight has an annular ring that runs on four jewels. It has a monometallic gyromax balance that’s adjusted for heat, cold, and 5 positions. There is a self-compensating flat balance-spring, an engraved  gold rotor, a variable inertia block balance, and a central hacking seconds mechanism. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The chronograph function features a sophisticated column-wheel chronograph movement, with a central seconds counter hand. It includes a 30-minute sub-dial counter positioned at the 3 o’clock mark and a 12-hour sub-dial counter located at 9 o’clock. Additionally, a date window is placed between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions, while the continuous running small seconds sub-dial is located at the 6 o’clock position.
