This Rolex Oyster Perpetual 277200 has a Rolex caliber 2232 movement, a new-generation self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex that’s fitted with a silicon Syloxi hairspring that has greater stability in temperature variations and is 10 times more precise than a traditional hairspring in case of shocks. It’s rhodium-plated, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment and it’s constructed with 31 jewels, Paraflex shock absorbers, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that’s adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, Microstella regulating screws, and a quickset hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
