Super Exclusive & Extremely Rare EXTREMELY RARE DISCONTINUED MODEL Patek Philippe 5070J Chronograph Yellow Gold 42mm EXCLUSIVE MANUFACTURED TIMEPIECES The Patek Philippe reference 5070 chronograph is a gorgeous timepiece that makes an impression. Particularly this configuration with the solid 18k yellow gold case and black dial, exudes a masculinity and warmth that is unmatched by any other watch, period. The reference 5070 was the first oversized Patek Philippe in the modern catalog, and is now discontinued. This watch is Unworn with box and papers. The sculpted, massive 18k gold case measures 42mm diameter by 13mm thick. The bezel is very broad and is set off by the large winding crown, rectangular chrono-pushers and long, thick lugs. The lugs are stepped, and since this watch has never been polished, the steps are as crisp as the day the case was finished. I really can’t say enough good things about the quality of the case, both aesthetically and its fit and finish. Dial is black with applied gold numerals and leaf hands. The outermost chapter on the dial is a simple seconds register for the chronograph seconds hand, while the inner chapter is a tachymetric scale. The two sub-dials are sunken. All of the printed scales on the dial are gilt. Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 27, clearly visible through the sapphire display back, proudly displaying its Geneva Seal. The movement has 28 jewels, beating at a leisurely 18,000 VPH… which helps to extend the power reserve to approximately 56 hours.
