It has twin square aperture windows for the day and month at 12 o’clock, with a combination moonphase and radial date scale at 6 o’clock. The 38.5mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and angled flat bezel are all polished. The dial is sunray blue with applied gold faceted rectangular baton index markers with 12 fine white baguette diamonds around a perimeter gold pip minute/second scale. It includes gold Dauphine sword hour and minute hands with a center sweep second hand. It has twin rectangular window apertures for the day and month at 12 o’clock and there is a recessed circular subsidiary 24-hour night/day dial and combination moon phase at 6 o’clock with a date aperture window at its 6 o’clock. It’s water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 35 to 45-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 11.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It includes an 18k rose gold case on an alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold deployment buckle, and scratch-resistant sapphire crystals. It has a signed pull-out winding crown, and there are four correctors – two on each side of the case band – at 8, 10, 2, and 4 o’clock for adjusting the annual calendar functions. There is a snap-down exhibition sapphire display crystal case back with a thumb-latch and hallmarks underneath the lugs. 

This Patek Philippe 5396R Annual Calendar 5396R-015 has a mechanical Patek Philippe automatic self-winding caliber 324/303 S QA LU 24H movement that’s rhodium-plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and the stamp of the Patek Philippe seal. It’s constructed with 34 jewels, 347 components, a straight-line lever escapement, and the patented Gyromax balance that adjusts for cold, heat, isochronism, and for five positions. It has a shock absorber system, a 21K gold rotor with a Calatrava symbol, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). 

A tribute to the 20th anniversary of Patek Philippe’s patented Annual Calendar the Ref. 5396, featuring a double inline window for the day and month, and date at 6 o’clock, is presented in rose gold with a Blue Baguette Diamond dial.
