The Main dial, via a sub-dial located at the 12 o’clock position, is beautifully hand decorated with a fine guilloche pattern (engine-turned). The Retrograde Date is located on the bottom of the dial. Rather than a traditional hand or a date disc rotating in continuous forward-moving circles only, the date is indicated by a hand that travels along an arc & once it reaches the 31st day of the month it will spring back to the 1st. The self-winding automatic Breguet Caliber 505q, beats at 21,600 vph, contains 45 jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 50 hours. It’s fitted with a Breguet balance-spring, an inverted straight-line escapement in silicon. This magnificent movement features an Anchor shaped solid-mass rotor. Also visible is the inverted straight in-line lever escapement with silicon horns. Fitted on a  Blue Alligator leather strap and a tongue buckle. 

This Breguet La Tradition 7597BB/GY/9WU has a self-winding automatic Breguet caliber 505Q movement that’s constructed with 234 components and 45 jewels, blued screws, Breguet silicium Balance-spring, 14.5"’ lignes, "inv. straight-line lever, Si horns" escapement. It includes a monometallic balance with 4 regulating screws, adjusted to six positions. There is a self-compensating silicon balance spring with a Breguet overcoil; the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). 

The skeletonisation on the watch is a showpiece, with anthracite coating on the plates and bridges, rhodium plating on other components, and polished bevels creating a wholesome contrast. The numbered scale marking the date is arranged neatly at the bottom of the dial for an uninterrupted view of the movement and is indicated via a tapered blue hand.

The back of the watch is as full of character as the front. The engraved winding rotor, visible through the open caseback, is a nod to the winding mass used in early Perpetuelle pocket watches. The in-house calibre 505Q beats at 28,800bph frequency and offers a power reserve of 50 hours. It comes with an inverted straight in-line lever escapement with silicon horns and a Breguet balance spring, also in silicon.
