Franck Muller Vanguard Skeleton Tourbillion Sapphire Color Dreams Limited Edition with a Unique Movement made of Anodized Aluminum features hand chamfering on the flanks of the main plate and on the bridges. Micro-blasting and satin finishing on the bridges and on the main plate feature circular brushing on the wheels. Luminescent hands and markers. Hand wind movement. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Revealing the soul of its mechanism through the transparency of its sapphire case, the latest Vanguard skeleton sapphire showcases its movement to the fullest. Innovation and expertise coupled with Haute Horlogerie traditions has enabled Franck Muller to design this one-of-a-kind timepiece, achieving an unprecedented achievement. The Vanguard Skeleton rounded barrel-shaped 44mm by 53.7mm solid two-body case is housed in the emblematic Cintrée Curvex case, and its hooded lugs, and convex bezel, are made of a solid block of sapphire. Featuring a clear sapphire crystal case, this rare Vanguard is interesting beyond its colors and shape. And in the Vanguard Skeleton Sapphire Color Dreams, the movement bridges are anodized in a multitude of colors. Carefully machined from a block of sapphire crystal, the transparent watch case offers full visual access to the skeleton movement. Fitted on a red alligator leather strap with a white tongue buckle. Manufacturing a sapphire watchcase of this kind requires a high degree of hand-finishing, high expertise, and a unique savoir-faire. The case, bezel, and back of this timepiece are milled from a single block of sapphire. It takes two months to machine the case and then two more to accomplish the polishing. The Vanguard Tourbillon boasts maximum skeletonization for an almost hollowed-out look that has been designed to mimic the beams seen on a suspension bridge. With no true dial to speak of, the effect of the manually wound mechanical Calibre FM 2001 movement, which is composed of 194 components, can be completely seen through the crystal of the watch face. Also seen is the ball-bearing tourbillon carriage that keeps the same style as the rest of the watch. Its anodized embellishment on the bridges, 21 jewels, a shock absorber device, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour. Wholly designed and manufactured in-house, the balanced design of the Vanguard Skeleton showcase the passion for crafts and art of details characteristic of the Franck Muller manufacture. The openworked bridges have been designed to accentuate the architecture of this piece, which is very strong. The upper bridge of the tourbillon adorned with the initials of the brand brings this timepiece to life. Franck Muller presents its emblematic Vanguard case in a sapphire version where transparency meets grace. Perfect transparency, bringing purity and lightness to the case and allowing its owner to admire the movement in its entirety. Essentially developed for complicated watches such as the Tourbillion or the skeleton complications, the Vanguard Tourbillon Sapphire Skeleton collection offers a timeless journey where beauty and magic meet technology. With the architectural lines of its movement, the Vanguard Skeleton is a resolutely contemporary timepiece.
