The now seven-year-strong collaboration between Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal and Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille has resulted in a series of record-smashing tourbillons, as well as trailblazing manual wound watches. This season, following Nadal’s victory at Roland Garros that made him the first man in history to win a single Grand Slam tennis tournament 10 times, Richard Mille expands its series saluting “El Toro”with two RM 035 Rafael Nadal limited editions. Satin-finished 18K red gold forms the tripartite, tonneau-shaped case of the new Richard Mille RM 035 Gold Toro. The watch’s crown, buckle and hands are also crafted in the precious metal. Presented on a black rubber strap with matching crown protector, the watch’s skeletonized RMUL1 manual wound movement with a 55-hour power reserve is visible from the front and back thanks to its sapphire case back. The watch measures 48 mm x 39.70 mm x 12.25 mm.
