The Richard Mille RM 61-01 Yohan Blake was developed in collaboration with Olympic sprinting legend Yohan Blake, drawing inspiration from the highly complex RM 59-01 tourbillon created for the Jamaican athlete. Designed to withstand extreme forces encountered during elite competition, the RM 61-01 embodies Richard Mille’s relentless pursuit of ultra-lightweight construction, advanced materials, and uncompromising performance.

This striking example features a matte black TZP ceramic case accented by vivid neon yellow and green elements, reflecting the colors associated with Blake’s Jamaican heritage and his nickname, "The Beast." The asymmetrical tonneau-shaped case measures approximately 50.23mm x 42.70mm with a thickness of around 15.8mm, delivering remarkable ergonomics despite its bold dimensions. The lightweight construction combines black ceramic with titanium components and is secured using Richard Mille’s signature spline screws.

The openworked dial reveals the skeletonized movement beneath while showcasing an energetic arrangement of fluorescent bridges and minute track elements. The dial features a skeletonized black movement base with neon yellow and green accents, creating a highly technical appearance while maintaining excellent legibility. Protected by sapphire crystals front and back, the watch offers a full view of the movement and its exceptional finishing.

At the heart of the RM 61-01 is the manually wound Richard Mille Caliber RMUL2, an ultra-light skeletonized movement constructed from grade 5 titanium with black PVD and Titalyt® treatments. Weighing only approximately 4.3 grams, the caliber utilizes a double-barrel architecture for enhanced torque stability and improved power delivery. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), the movement provides an impressive 55-hour power reserve while offering exceptional shock resistance suitable for the demands of professional athletes.
