Devon is a reinvention of the watch. The movement of the Steampunk Tread 1 transforms strongly toward the steampunk look while remaining true to the concepts and features that put Devon at the forefront of avant-garde watch making. Motor and shaft supports, gears, and hardware are now manufactured from free-cutting brass. Our base belt material will be manufactured in an exclusive dark brown color-tone with antique white numbering. Completing the look of the movement is a new Indicator plate manufactured from Cartridge brass and etched to create the antiqued look so common with vintage brass. The retro, yet futuristic design of the indicator plate adds the finishing touch to a watch created to contribute to an ever-growing genre. This fantastic timepiece, with a feel of fictional reality in which modern technology collides with late 1800’s to 1900’s Victorian design, is fittingly created by the company that has reinvented the watch.

The Devon Works Tread watch is arguably the most cutting edge watch made today, a timepiece of striking visuals and technology. The Tread 1 Watch features four internal 2-micron thin belts that spin within the case to display the time. It’s powered by a lithium polymer rechargeable cell that is charged by wireless induction.
