It has black Roman numeral hour markers, and the secret Cartier signature is on the VII. It has a protected octagonal pull-out winding crown topped with a sapphire spinel, and a solid polished curved case back secured with 8 screws. It’a water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 10.1mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. 

This Cartier Santos 100 XL W20072X7 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Cartier caliber 076 movement. It’s rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it’s constructed with 25 jewels, an Incabloc shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic Glucydor balance, an Etachron fine adjustment system, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
