A surprising new member of the Hublot watch family this year is the new Classic Fusion. It is relatively thin (especially for a Hublot), it is relatively simple (just the time), and it has a very nice looking modern case.

At the Baselworld show, Hublot unveiled the Hublot Classic Fusion. A classic looking watch based upon the Big Bang design that itself is a modern looking watch. The only way that was possible, was by making the Hublot Big Bang itself a classic.

Classic Fusion works. Hublot took the core Big Bang look and simplified it. Think of it as a stripped down Big Bang King – the non-chronograph diver version of the Big Bang. The Classic Fusion has a much thinner profile and simplified dial. What you have is the classic porthole design of the case, and the strong hands and hour markers that made the Big Bang so famous. The case and bezel is Titanium, one of the lightest materials known to man, and the strap is black crocodile “gummy” with a stainless steel deployant buckle.
